  1. Great haiku (obviously, since it’s from you) and I love the image. At this time of year, I can’t help thinking that a heart in armor could have helped a scarecrow and a cowardly lion at the same time.

  2. I like the title and its two dimensional perspective. A real heart attack is obviously damaging to oneself. It places an individual in harms way; unable to protect from physical and emotional harm. When the heart attacks it becomes a source of increased strength and power. I view the armor as a protective lifestyle that strengths the heart to combat internal physical demons (physical disease) as well as internal emotional demons (emotional disease.) Your writing stimulates the mind.

  3. A heart of steel. I can tell you’ve been hurt so deeply. I will never forget your poem I think it’s called “Claws” where she guards her heart with claws. That is one of my favorite poems :). You’re a beautiful women inside and out. I love you my Rose 😉 ❤️
