I like to think a parched heart just means its essence is concentrated. Like instant coffee. Or beef jerky.

Love poisoning is very real and is known as Lovcus Toxicus. You don’t want that! It makes you cry incessantly, loss of appetite and can’t sleep, and some have died of a broken heart. 😱
