The spider is long gone.
He leaves behind his home.
When it rains, the web becomes a net –
Catching gems where flies once met death.

[Gasp!] I know you’re referring to the Goddess Isis but darling, that’s, um, not a good word to use at the moment. π

These words appear to be handcrafted from the forge of your creativity and expertly heat treated, creating a dazzling masterpiece. We all should be ashamed of ourselves and bow down to your mastery.
**Special Side-Note** I’m tired of lazy arachnids leaving behind their nasty webs. They are supposed to take them down, but the spiders around here certainly don’t care about picking up after themselves!

Thank you! No bowing down. Well, maybe a little π It was easy to write with your cooooool photo
You must have a garden? I’s that where you take your pics?

I don’t mind bowing down.
Yes, I have a very unruly garden, and it’s where I take my nasty insect photographs.

I really love your bug shots. I’m the person who sees a huge spider in the house and takes it outside. Bugs do so much for us. I do hate mosquito and kill those easily.

You must be one in a billion because no one likes my insect photography! Haha.
I just rescued a cricket that was trying to live inside my laptop. I had it closed — and when I opened it — a cricket was sitting on the spacebar.

Riiiight! No one likes your photos? Can’t believe that!!
Aw, did the cricket pose for you?

I tried to to an image, but the lighting was way too dim…
…Yes! The cricket — in fact — posed! I think it was enjoying the heat radiating off the keyboard.

YES! This is a beautiful evocation of spider webs outdoors. Indoors, on the other hand, webs suck.

Or, perhaps not a haiku per se, but lovely, nonetheless.
