I sell collectibles and art online and often find the things I've found have hilarious and at times, dark stories to tell. It's thrilling for me to be creatively random, so always expect the unexpected in the things I share with you.
Having had recent major tooth decay issues, this poem makes me ache! 😀 It is a beautiful drawing out of the “sweet nothings” saying. I hope this is not a poem from a personal romantic debacle. Welcome back!
Haha! Yes, thank God for my broken 💔, or whatever would I write about?? I love your new gravatar, Katherine… vavavavoooom! Thank you for your kind thoughts. ❤
Thanks Rose. The change was suggested by Ted Stutz a fellow blogger. I give him sneak peeks of the photos I’m doing now as he is such a friend. I think he chose well, if I do say so myself. ☺️
Exactly… Yes, my lovely biker friend! Thank you ❤ SO much!! I was hoping to use one of your photos (the girl in the white dress jumping in the muddy water) for my next post please??
Hi Rose, metaphorically speaking you’re my favourite poetry flower, and metaphorically your poem reeks of decayed love, causing a deep chasm, leaving you with a bad taste in your mouth.
Aw, I dance every time you visit from Down Under! Wow. Those are amazing lines!! I’m melting. A million thanks, dear Ivor. You’ve made my evening sparkle. 💞 ✨
Well good morning, I do hope you’ve been well? You’ve been sadly missed around here. I do like the poem and the use of sweet words to tell someone to sod off in a subtle way. Take care L…jc
You’re a master wordsmith! Your recent creation is one of my favorites, and your spoken word is clear and precise. Nice job! ‘”Lover of sugar. Fool for cake.” — pure genius.
Don’t know how I missed this one, Rose. Deepest apologies. The poem is clever as only a Rose-poem could be, but that collage takes the cake. (Intended) Is that some sort of legislative assembly I see pictured? Politicians are known for sweet nothings, too. In any case, you’re a brilliant talent, my friend.
I’m happy you found my poem, Oggy! Yes, it’s crazy how politicians work the system. They tell the world how great and free America is; yet when refugees seek asylum, they find those words were all sweet nothings. The icing drips and become a prison. People using people to advance political gains. Thank you for reading in between the lines. xo
Welcome back my friend happy to read you again
