She grew frost flowers
to keep the chill in her heart.
Pain can’t invade ice.

What does that mean?

When I am stumped with sign language I look it up on the internet. You know my memory just plumb forgot what it means at this very moment.
Oh! how did that get in there!

I LOVE IT! It’s interesting to get a male’s point of view, so I appreciate this very much. The only question I have is the spelling of chilli (are you talking about the Mexican dish, chili? or being cold; chilly?). 🙂

The English spelling of the hot fruit that is used in the making of the Mexican dish. Hot chilli pepper. A metaphor in this instance for his burning lust.

She be dun wrong once too many times! No one is going to reach the depths of her soul ever again….. UNLESS he meets the following requirement posted by her:
Sugar daddy wanted. Good looks optional. Unlimited cash flow essentional. Apply for the position by electronically transferring your networth using the following routing number. Upon completing these requirements please wait for my answer in your clothing closet.
Soon to be rich, however, the mean streak remains intact.

Ah, Dr. J, the woman in the poem doesn’t want a sugar daddy! It sounds like she’s perfectly content being in control of her heart.
Thank you for visiting! 🙂

The scale of these frost flowers is quite tiny – less than a millimeter. I think it’s one of the smallest subjects I ever imaged (and it was difficult).
I look forward to finding more frost flowers, but they are difficult to see! \”/

They’re beautiful, and I’m glad, despite their minute size, that you were able to capture them! They look like they were on a glass surface. Are they on a windshield or window?

Great haiku (as ever)! Did make me wonder how people water frost flowers, though.

You don’t need to, silly! The bees, though, poor buggers, go through many stingers 😦

The poor little things, getting their assets frozen. It’s a shame. 😦
