This reminds me of a book my wife is reading about how animals are able to literally ‘shake off’ the effects of trauma in a way that humans struggle to do.

no, no, no — I’m being serious — I can summon a bat with a wiffle ball. Wait until the sky turns blood red (dusk) then toss the ball into the air. A spinning wiffle ball makes a faint, but perceptible noise, which bats are attracted to.

They live hidden. But there are some in the market, people have them for luck or something. In the highlands they tend to be a bit little. I never summoned one because I’m afraid of Batman 😛 Have you ever summoned them o.O? I didn’t know there was that tradition in your country.

I’ve only seen bats in zoos. Fellow blogger, FlyTrapMan says you can summon bats by throwing a wiffle ball up in the air cuz of the sound it makes!
