I don’t wear diamond rings on my fingers, nor do I desire gold bracelets on my wrists. I just want to look into your sapphire eyes and tell you, your beautiful soul exceeds all riches.

This is very sweet and enjoyable. I love the use of “sapphire”, adding the gem element to the mention of riches. Lovely! 🙂

Eyes are one of my favorites
They are the truest form of expression
To me they are the tell

Simply beautiful Rose

Sapphire eyes are expensive!

I know! I would’ve looked into emerald eyes for a lot cheaper, but sapphire ones are just so lovely.

Look into cubic zirconia eyes — they’re much cheaper!

Beauty found in someone’s soul is worth more to me than materialistic stuff. I had a specific person in mind when I wrote this poem; thus I used the word “sapphire” to describe eye color. That’s all!

Your piece cuts right to it: Nothing is as valuable as finding a “beautiful soul!” I love how you weave the material with the ethereal. ❤

*hides the gold bracelets he was at point to give her* funny… I think in eyes like jewels, I had a friend that wanted to grab them with her fingers to poping them out of their orbints. xD
