Lucifer’s Playground
Poem and Photograph by Paula Graham
Lucifer, the archangel, fallen from grace, demonized by all:
October pilgrimage to the Lord of Hell,
Enthroned in his playground—
Of flames and groans!

You can feel the arrogance as Lucifer sits on his thrown in his soothing environment. Head honcho reveling in background sounds of burning flesh and groans of pain. Did you feel that cold chill?
Great piece.

Please pardon the poetic response to “Lucifer’s Playground.” I was possessed for a moment by the Halloween spirit.

Wow. This puts me in mind of a Victorian gibbet. Cool piece, or rather HOT!
