I sell collectibles and art online and often find the things I've found have hilarious and at times, dark stories to tell. It's thrilling for me to be creatively random, so always expect the unexpected in the things I share with you.
Well, after 25 years, my former wife and I have gotten back together, neither of us saw it coming, and both of us had settled in happily to our singleness. Dang that cupid, we both laugh. Although on two different sides of the country. And sosta stands for significant other second time around, after I asked how should we introduce the other (since we don’t plan on getting married). She came up with sosta.
That’s a hoot! Wow, congratulations!! Sosta, huh? Cool term. You’ve gotta write a haiku about that 🙂 Happy for you, and yeah, that Cupid sure gets around. ❤
I really like this because the interpretation can vary. She could be upset that love has found her or sanctimonious about love altogether. Cleverly written!
Thanks Dr. Jon! It was so much fun writing it, and I love to hear about the different interpretations of my poems. I’ve also been enjoying your well written and informative blog tremendously! Have a wonderful weekend 🙂
Can’t begin to tell you how this so where both my sosta and I are at in the last week.

I think she is cringing from the pain love always ‘inevitably’ brings……..love is beautiful and painful. Because we’re human
