His son on a slab
He sobbed, raising the knife high
Angel staid his hand
*This haiku, as many may know, was inspired by the story of Abraham and Isaac from The Bible’s Old Testament. It’s fascinating how The Holy Bible contains such dark and twisted stories. Who needs a Stephen King novel or The Grimm’s Fairytale?
Great Haiku. Keep them coming. 😎

Cruel, the sacrifice. It made no sense then & no it seem even more absurd.
