Blood clouds are the result of a rare atmospheric phenomenon: warm water molecules interact with an uncommon type of airborne bacteria — causing them to proliferate inside individual raindrops — which causes the cloud to glow crimson.
Watch out! Blood rain stains your clothes. Trust me.

I’ve never noticed rain from blood clouds staining my clothing. Of course, I’ve only been using detergent and fabric softener in my washing machine. I always forget the Luminol.
