yet I don’t even know your name.
Forced intimacy with people
I will never see again.
I’ve been stranded in Atlanta, GA for close to four hours. The recent storms here have canceled and delayed flights. People are sleeping all around me.
This is the first time I’ve slept with strangers. I wouldn’t call this an orgy, nor is it quite as sexy as I’d imagined…
I feel for you – I’m from Georgia!

Yeah, it’s a mess! On a positive note, I’ll probably have lots of time to finally catch up on visiting bloggers I’ve missed a lot❤

Ha! I’ve never been stranded in an airport before. It’s quite the adventure and one which I don’t want repeated. Thanks for keeping me company! xo

And you (obviously not your choice) picked Atlanta??? That’s one of the filthiest places ever.

Aw, man! I’ve visited Atlanta before, and I’m originally from Chicago, so I grew up playing in dirt. Haha. I’ve gotta say; really friendly people, and incredible food here in Atlanta. You’re right — I’m on my way to CT, and the airline swept me over here without my say so.

On the plane. They’re waiting on a flight attendant. It appears the airplane needs a minimum of them per flight per FAA. God, this has been a nightmare!

Ugh 😑. My daughter once spent the night in a Texas airport because her plane was delayed and her connecting flight left. Wasn’t a fun time for her. At least you’re on the plane now.

Please laugh, Kate! Life’s too short not to look at the humor of what fate kicks our way. I’m constantly amazed at what craziness we dredge up. It’s no picnic; although I did end up on dirty ground. Haha!! Thanks for your lovely company. xo

Delta Airlines handled the unfortunate mishaps pretty well, I thought. I spent the night here and will have spent a total of 12 lovely hours in the Atlanta airport before I’m due to finally leave. Delta gave away blankets and went around with a cart of free snacks and beverages. Three more hours then I’ll be boarding my third plane in 24 hours. Lol. Yes, a disappointment. 😉 Thank you, Sir Knight, for checking in on me. 🌹

Yikes! At least you’re safe, and it’s great that Delta is handing out snacks and blankets. I hope you’re on your way now, dear Rose.
(I guess it could be worse–what if the stranger was on the plane with your leaning against you and drooling, too?) 🙂

That has got to be the worse. In another life, I flew a lot for my job and I loved flying. Then 9/11 happened and I was on a plane at the time the towers were hit. And flying has gone downhill ever since… JC

Privacy violation for sure. But if you had run to a hotel, the schedule may have resumed under an alternate plan. Then you would be further delayed. On the othershand, this could have become an opportunity to meet some cozy friends.
