There it was again; a faint call for help. Sebastian raced down the path of trees towards the cemetery. He stopped at a tombstone. With his front paws, he began digging in the dirt. Below, Diane’s soul cried out as she was being pulled deeper into the depths of hell.

Sebastian has love for the person and not the deeds. True love, unjudging.

Now, I’m wondering, “what happens next?”, which is essential in any good story to keep a reader turning those pages. Can Sebastian save Diane from hell? Dogs are amazing creatures, so maybe he can….I suppose I will never know…sigh.
A great micro story, Rose.

Fly actually commented earlier about Sebastian following Diane into hell, and I’m halfway finished with the full story, so I’ll definitely share it in some form. No need to sigh, dear Cathy! Lol. You’re so cute 🙂
Thank you so much!!

I’m happy to hear you got the chills reading my microfiction! 😀 Last month, I visited my mom in Connecticut and also toured the town of Woodbury with FlyTrapMan where we walked through very old graveyards. Yeah, fun stuff! Lol. Fly’s story also inspired me:
