I sell collectibles and art online and often find the things I've found have hilarious and at times, dark stories to tell. It's thrilling for me to be creatively random, so always expect the unexpected in the things I share with you.
Who says?? I’ve read many of your posts to know your statement, with all due respect, is simply not true. I still remember that post you wrote about that man who appeared in both your dream and in the woods. My hair is standing on ends just writing about it! Has he ever visited you again? I’ve been wanting to ask that for awhile.
Oh no, my life has been very mundane lately. Probably my share of paranormal has exhausted itself. I guess the man is dead and buried by now, but I will never go to that part of the woods again, ever.
I know you’ve been fighting a bug lately. Hope you’re doing better. I very much appreciate your visits and thank you for indulging my curiosity. I find you fascinating. 💐
Oh thank you! I am almost sixty, and recovery takes a couple of months. Waiting for a good weather, have two projects to shoot outdoors, but have no energy after that virus infection.
You are too kind. I find you sparklingly talented.
Thanks Alan. I love your visits. Senyru is a haiku, but it specifically deals with human emotion. Technically and traditionally, haiku is solely written about nature. ❤️😘
Speaking of cold hearts, look what I found — I hope you can see the image. It’s a solid graphite heart sculpture that one can use as a pencil! It’s made in the USA by artist, Agelio Batle. It’s not very big; only about 2 3/8″ long. I’m gonna put it in a shadow box and hang it in my studio.
Nice! I took a look at a gallery of some of this work — graphite has an interesting texture and aesthetic, but I imagine it would be difficult medium to work with.
Thanks! Yes, I took this photo of mine. I wrote with it, and it glides smoothly. With daily use, it’s supposed to last up to 9 years, but I’m going to use it as wall art.
I normally use my laptop when I’m home, and I use a pencil and notebook when I’m out. Doodling is fun! I’ve used my iphone before, but it’s kind of a pain.
I keep the pen you gave me in a pencil cup by my computer. That pen is for corresponding 🙂
No, the weather hasn’t been a problem. A bigger issue for me recently was pulling a muscle in my left leg yesterday as I was running across a road. I’m not sure what happened. Perhaps it was black ice or something. Anyway, I’m hobbling about like a man of 350. My walking technique would actually be pretty funny if it wasn’t quite so painfully slow. 🙂
Cool haiku & graphic. I teach haikus.
Congratulations on being Danny Ray’s featured blogger. I was his featured blogger too. I am having a Valentines blog party on my site today. I’d love to have you Come.

Thank you Janice! I’ll make a dash over there later when I have more time. I have no idea about being a featured blogger. I didn’t get any notice or anything. Hmm…
Oh my, this is cold. Great image to accompany this senryu.

Do you usually write with a pencil? or pen?

I can’t use a pencil to write with — the tip is too fat. Yeah. That’s right. I said it. \”/

Lol. I use stacking lead pencils. Have you ever used them?

Mechanical pencils? No — I usually apply too much pressure and snap the tip.
